Class 12 has an unusual pattern: the board books are studied intensively for a year and then abandoned, not because they wear out but because the student's attention moves to entrance preparation or a degree syllabus. The copies that reach this page are therefore recent and complete.

Streams differ in what circulates. PCM and PCB sets appear in the largest volume, commerce sets — Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics — close behind, and humanities sets in smaller numbers but often in better condition.

The NCERT layer doubles as entrance material

For anyone writing JEE or NEET, the Class 12 NCERT books are not just board material — they are the reference the entrance syllabus is written against, particularly in Biology and inorganic chemistry. Buying those used and putting the saving towards coaching material is the sensible order of spending.

What condition to expect, and what to ignore

Board-year books are handled every day for a year, so Good is the most common grade and Like new is uncommon. Underlining, margin notes and a soft spine are normal and do not affect how the book teaches.

What matters is missing pages, water damage, and illegible diagram or graph pages. Every listing carries a condition grade and photographs of the actual copy, including the worst wear the seller could find, and is reviewed before going live.
