What circulates in Bangalore
Bangalore's book market is dominated by two groups. The pre-university and CBSE school population turns over Class 11 and 12 science sets every year, and the city's very large engineering intake turns over B.Tech semester references every five months. Both cycles produce complete, recent sets rather than odd single books.
Because so many students in the city move here for college and leave after graduation, end-of-course selling is unusually common — an outgoing batch has little reason to carry a semester library back home.
